#1 Pet Peeve is when he plays with a phone or texts while on a date. It can be a dealbreaker, depending on the severity.

Even worse than #1 - He acts all interested and never calls or texts afterwards. Or does it like 2 weeks after the date.

When after you've wined and dined and are in the bedroom, the confide they want a relationship...they proceed to feel you up, you make out....and then get a call the next day that you just aren't clicking and nothing will work...but it's not your fault!

I could write a thesis on the ups and downs of online dating (mostly the downsides). While I love seeing naked pics as much as the next guy, it really kills the mystery when you see someone's dick and ass before a first date even.

Another thing that sort of bristles me is guys putting their sexual position in their online profiles. If our personalities fit we'll get around to finding whether the rest fits.

both of these happened to me recently:

    1) The forced hand hold. If you're feeling it it will happen, don't put me in an awkward situation.

    2) Look at me when you're talking to me. Not off to the side. It's weird.

When a guy claps at the end of a movie while we're in a theater... that drives me nuts.

A lot of the pet peeves previously listed are just general ones that would irritate me even out of a dating situation. With that said, mine are:

    - assuming I would pay (especially if they are unemployed). I don't mind paying most of the time, but at least offer.

    - cell phone texting or talking during the date. If you're not a doctor or have a job that's on call, the phone can wait.

    - overly argumentative. There's just some people who argue for the sake of arguing. When I'm getting to know someone, I'd rather the person not be that type of person.

    - and last but not least, poor grooming & hygiene.

so you won't mind sleeping with someone who wouldn't be turned on unless you take a massive dump on his chest?

The Gay men i've met so far all have a ridiculous amount of pet peves then cry that they're single and can't find the one. icon_rolleyes.gif A partner is supposed to compliment you not complete you.

Actually the use of the word is complement with an "e" and does mean to complete. Such as when you wear shoes that complement your outfit. It "completes" the look.

A compliment is an accolade you give someone such as, "Hey, nice arms." Or, "You're a great guy."

Like I said. A lot of guys find anything to complain about. Thanks for proving my point.
