Just finished season 1 of Heroes....loved it.

This was on NETWORK television? Have the terrorists won or something? I thought that all that was on network TV was BS comedies like "Everybody Loves Raymond" and formulaic crime dramas.

Now now, I only got into at the start of the year, then I got addicted and watch the entire series in a couple of days.

We all get there eventually and admittedly it was never really advertised that much in Australia that I know of!

HAHA, Formulaic Crime Dramas? You mean like anytime there's a car involved they'll catch the bad guy cause he moved the seat back? And they found ONE hair underneath the seat?

In other news, I can't wait for Season 3 of Heros (or rather Villains as this one is dubbed) to come out.

The first season was awesome. But the second was really disappointing, but the first did set a high bar.

Whooohooo! I'm not as out-of-touch as someone, even if it's jp & caslon.

Some may consider this sacreligious, but I liked Heroes I more than BSG. Never made it to season 2 because my partner (who is the pop culture knowitall and a film/TV critic) said it wasn't worth it. He's also loving CSI... maybe he's going senile?

Season 1 was awesome..coz they've only introduced the characters and their abilities and how heroes from different walks of life come together in a chain of events to save the world...howeverrrrr lol..in my humble opinion, season 2 has gone downhill a lil' bit..wasn't as interesting (to me anyways) as season 1...Sylar's revival made it even less interesting for me..they should've moved on..oh well..it's kinda turning into X-Men-cum-4400..if u've heard of that show before..nontheless, will keep watching season 3 when it's out.
omg nerdie tv show talk ;P

Great to have more people watching this show. It became one of my favorites right away. I do think season 2 was a bit rushed due to the strike. Lets hope for great things in season 3.

I loved season 1, but was really let down by that finale. It was a real let down. And season 2 was underwhelming (though I did enjoy shirtless Milo in the first several episodes!!!). I hope season 3 breaks the slump, I want to love this show.

Yeah season 1's finale was a bit of a dissapointment, and the story of season 2 with Hiro was a tad bit boring as well. But this was because of the writers strike, this is also the reason why season 2 was this short ... it was said they're picking up the slack for season 3 and are really bringing it.

I hope they will, i love that show! Although it needs more useless abuse of powers icon_biggrin.gif

I hate commercials, so unless it's South Park I can't stomach it.

    +

I can never be at home at a certain time just to watch a show.

    /

by the fact that there hasn't been an amazing and well-written serial on network TV since TWIN PEAKS.

    x

The anti-establishment in me automatically thinks that if there is tons of hype around something it must be corny. Which is why I didn't see The Sopranos till very late.

    =

that is where I have been.

And I agree the finale was very anti-climatic. Oh well....Nathan Petrelli is hot.
