Yay! Thanks so much for that set!

    You have a great eye!

Actually two great eyes, but who's counting?

Well, I guess I'm counting, but now I'm really off the rails here...

    thanks guys.
jogdsk: the temples were in ayuthaya, which used to be the capital 300 odd years ago, and its 60 km or 2 hours train ride north of bangkok.

and yep, this trip was very affordable, because everything is pretty cheap. (the 2 hr tain ride for instance cost me 75 cents)icon_eek.gif

Almost every time I see pictures of Thailand, they make me want to move there. Why did they have to put it so far away?

ok i have not been there but i've heard about the place. last time i was in bangkok we thought about going to ayuthaya, but heard from people that if you've seen angkor wat, it will probably disapoint you.. and since we just came from there we decided to go to kanchanaburi instead which was awesome!

My friend is currently working as a tour guide around Khao Lak and i really wanna go visit him but this year it's not a possibility. If anyone is going I can hook you up, he'll show you all the wierd shit those jungles have to offer, like nuts that'll get you drunk, magic mushrooms growing in elephant shit etc..

But if I still have some money left in may I'm going to New York instead! icon_biggrin.gif
    go weeeeest

His talent for photography, as good as it is, is still exceeded by his talent for witty repartee. That, and flipping his hair back, defiantly... which is quite an accomplishment, given that his hair doesn't actually flip.

Note how I've attempted to derail this thread from Thailand and photography into SundaySwim, who, to my mind, has not been discussed nearly enough on RJ.

    Discuss.
