Too bad Dixie Carter had pretty much the opposite political views of her character. However, she was very appreciative of her gay fans and supported HIV/AIDS charities.

She could make a good president but she's still a politician, I still can't trust her.

    Ron Paul 2012

Not a chance in hell, but it would be a hell of a better country with him at the helm.

Unlike Obama, he'd never sign an atrocity like this into law:

Wait... people still like Hillary? Even after she has established herself as a rabid imperialist? (not that it was a surprise or anything)

She is an awful human being, and would be an awful president, which... would make her like every other president. Good people don't get to such positions of power.

For every sane, progressive stance Ron Paul has (as I liberal I also completely detest that fucking defense bill), he has a bucket of crazy to offset it.

Legalize marijuana--yay! But then, gold standard? End Social Security and Medicare? I can wait for another presidential candidate.

OMG never trust Chillery, because the first thing she will do is take us to war, to prove the hair on her chest goes all the way down to her balls. I would rather see China take over it's ownership of America.

I totally agree !!!! even with some things that I disagree with him on, his primary beliefs and policy stands, like his Foreign Policy ideas, would far outweigh any negatives about him.

While he may not be able to win, if he runs independent and gets a good following, he will thereby change the dialog in a good way and pave the way for another third party candidate to be even more successfull in years to come and shake up our Corporate and Israeli Lobby bought and paid for two party system.

    +1
I can't believe anyone is crazy enough to endorse the gold standard. Apparently Ron Paul enjoyed the Great Depression so much the first time around and hated the economic growth of a post-war America.
