When Stadium Marriage Proposals Go Wrong

Q1: Real? Or staged? I've seen staged ones in arenas before ("drama club practice", e.g.) but for whatever reason this one caught on like wildfire.

Q2: Would you consider arranging a proposal to your beau in a televised, public arena like that? Assuming we ever get to the day such places allow it, of course.

Q3: If the "Kiss Cam" accidentally (again, assuming not intentionally) gets you and your partner appearing on the JumboTron, would you go ahead and take a quick peck?

Q2: yes, but in a more creative way.

Q3: i'm a sucker for that romantic sh!t so yes, of course.

Ridiculously tacky anyway. I'd say no

    Edit: Maybe not publicly though!

In my view a marriage proposal should be a private, intimate moment, not a media circus that puts the potential betrothed publicly on the spot. Dismiss me as being hopelessly old-fashioned, but that's my opinion.

I feel the same. People sometimes argue that engagements should be memorable, hence these public stunts. Shouldn't the wedding day and honeymoon be much more memorable though? That's how I'd prefer it.

I saw that video a few days ago on Yahoo. It looks rather staged to me, but who knows.

Unfortunately for this guy, rejection will not be forgotten easily. Just goes to show that these public marriage proposals are not the place to pop the question!
