Ok, this is my first time posting on here so bear with me lol. I've been here for a while and have met a lot of cool guys out of state but as soon as I see someone from Cleveland they tuck tail and hide?!?!? Is this proving the old saying that Cleveland sucks?!?! I mean seriously, not lookin to marry anybody just make friends. don't get me wrong I know I'm not brad Pitt but wow, what's the deal, am I doin something wrong or are these guys afraid I'm gonna out them? If so, don't post your pic or even be on here at all! I know, I'm opening myself up for some hate mail but this is getting very frustrating!

Do only clever men live in cleverland?

If so - I'd ask a Cleverlander to go out on a date

It's not Cleveland - but the gay scene does kinda suck...

I try not to make platonic gay friends that I initially find attractive (likewise, guys who find me attractive). Too many times, there's some motive that later surfaces or jealousy gets involved...

Begin with good conversation and if it is self-sustaining (w/o heavy petting), then a friendship can come about.

Thanks for the advise, just venting and a little frustrating.

Things are not better in Cincy, lol. Keep your head up. You'll find someone great. If something as unlikely as human life can emerge from an amoeba, love can happen in Cleveland!

My experiences going out to gay bars in Cleveland have just been ok. The guys seem to hover in their cliques and that's about it.

I'm confused. Are you talking about guys in Cleveland in general or guys in Cleveland on RJ?

I've found some nice guys in Cleveland in general, there aren't a hell of a lot on RJ, but I've made some great out-of-state friends on here ...

I think Cleveland is a metaphor for true love in a gay universe. Or maybe I'm looking too deeply into this.....
