As in you were texting, he falls asleep, you wish him a good night and he wakes up later, texts you back, apologizes for "dozing off" and continues the conversation?

What can I infer from this? I don't want to read too much into it, but don't also want to brush it off, when ironically I've been feeling he wasn't into me at all(extreme cynic, working on it though)

I am never texting him again this late, I felt so badicon_redface.gif

There's a reason I'm asking, so if this is a good sign, bad sign, not that serious..thoughts would be appreciated.

He likes me, and I usually talk on the phone, so if I want to ask a question that's silly to you ,block me. That simple.

    It's a sign that's he's not an asshole.
But he could be trying to tell you that he's trying to sleep.
But yes you are reading too much into it.

He's been texting me all day randomly like "Hey" and when I respond, he says he just wanted to say hi or was thinking about me, something mushy haha, so maybe I wasn't reading too much into it. When I apologized, he just ignored it and went on about something else.

Yeah, he seems like a sweet guy, he started texting me first today, like "Good afternoon", "How are you?" "I'm adorable", etc, so that's refreshing and ha! to everyone who said I was reading too much into it

Why did I ask such a silly question?

I asked because another guy who I thought we were just friends, used to do that, wake up, respond to a text, then wait for my response, but it turned out that he likes me, even though he has a girlfriend and it was just a weird situation, so was wondering how to interpret it when I know the guy on the other end is gay as well.

Thanks for the responses that weren't rude.

Dude, you're seriously over thinking this!

It's often a mistake to over-analyse text's / timings of, etc. but they are pretty informal communications and loads of guys are pretty casual in how they use them.

    pfiffle!

He was tired and dozed while texting. The fact that he continued texting after he woke up is a GREAT sign, IMHO.

I could probably be texting the president and still doze off if I'm really sleepy lol. I've done exactly what your friend did so many times. Usually my friends are cool with it since I apologize and explain that I just dozed off.

No...the real question is..what the fuck is up with you coming in my thread and using vulgarity? If you thought this was silly and pathetic, you could have rolled your eyes and gone on to the next thread. Respect me and I'll respect you, but I'm obviously just getting out there and naive, so quite frankly, fuck you. Good day.

well, it could also mean that he's insecure about losing your attention, which could turn into a clingy and controlling relationship. sorry, but that's my take on it..at least to some degree.
