When this guy started preaching at a pride event, some of the gay Christians try to engage him in a discussion but like all the homophobes he won't let them speak. I also like how his type uses the idea of tolerance against them. But he misses the double negative. Yes they are intolerant of intolerance so that makes them tolerant. You only need to watch the first few minutes as it goes on with his rambling for quite some time. It worth watching just to see how the cute cop handled asking him to leave the campus.

Pahhh...religion is totalitarian. Being told what you can or cannot do disgusts me. According to the bible I'm not allowed to eat celery, yet I can burn homosexuals. Great logic. icon_biggrin.gif

I could've said a WHOLE lot more in my argument above as it is very simplified, but my point being is - why is this an issue in the first place? Why should it be debated if homosexuality and the bible should clash? Religion has caused more harm than good. It has done good, but the harm it has done across the world outweighs that. Obviously you can practice believing in a religion or a belief, but if that belief discriminates against a group of people then I will complain. You can argue that it's about 'interpretation', but if this 'interpretation' causes arguments about christianity being for and against the homosexuality then it just leads me (again MY opinion) to believe that religion is very much pointless. Even the fact that people have to quote scripture at each other to say that the bible isn't or is against homosexuality shows 2 things:

    1) The bible has more contradictions than it's worth
    2) The bible is christianity's own worst enemy

I like the part where he talks about his sins of the past, namely his addiction to porn, alcohol, and drugs and tries to equate homosexuality to all of this. As for homosexuality, he says he didn't bite from that apple. If he is a latent case as so many of his kind are perhaps homosexuality is only apple he should have eaten. Perhaps then he wouldn't have sought refuge in alcohol and drugs.
