I liked maybe the first season...but, after that, it just kind of got outta hand for me. Plus, I'd rather listen to a choir than those people any day. Not even Lea Michele does anything for me.

I'm not a fan. It's pretty stereotypical, but so long as they sing and dance under the veneer of doing something positive for gays, people won't notice.

I rather like what they do with the music from an artistic standpoint, but the vocal performances are definitely touch-and-go. The plots are inconceivably way too far-fetched, and the few times they do delve into something interesting they either tie it up neatly in some lame five-sentence exchange of dialogue or simply drop it with no follow-up or resolution. I have no idea what the writers are attempting to do. What's the point of this season? Too avoid frustration, I just listen for the music performances.

Never felt like watching it. I know it's kinda unfair to prejudge a show that you've never watched.

What's the likelihood that fans of GLEE are also Britney Spears' fans?

Well at least your being honest!

I think it's a bit lame, but I thought I was the only gay guy to think so!

I've never been able to sit through an entire episode myself, but people are free to like whatever they want. I'm sure a lot of people would hate the kind of music that I enjoy.

I watched my first episode a few months ago. A little annoying and boring. Just not my type of show.

I like the show but do on occasion skip past the really campy songs. I do tend to ogle the sexy men on the show: Darren Criss, Matthew Morrison, Harry Shum Jr, and Chord Overstreet (trouty lips!) The man has the most gorgeous, plump lips.

I admire the show for dealing with two gay story lines, one gay and one lesbian. I'm sure many are offended that they chose a feminine gay male but who cares, he's gay. I believe the shows offers much to gay teens, and bullied teens and even adults. icon_biggrin.gif

Ugh, that pervasive use of auto-tune, the super gross sounding voices, and lack of rehearsal in plot makes it seem completely unrealistic. As a music major, I am deathly aware of that and it bothers me.

HOWEVER, Mark Salling (Puck) is such a handsome guy. What a remarkably wonderful face. icon_redface.gif

I enjoy it though sometimes the scripts and music are not really my taste. I think it's been really positive for the gay storylines however, particularly the bullying, closet characters, and first time sex.

Would you have ever seen a network show even hint at gay sex a few years ago? Straight members of the audience rooting for a pair of gay boys to get together?

Sure, some Glee stuff is stereotypical but there's no other show on network tv that comes close to giving as much screen time to gay characters and specific challenges.

TV has come a long way in a very short amount of time and I believe our presence on regular shows really helps people become more accepting. Glee continues to push that cause forward.

I thought the first season was really well done and heartfelt. Just o.k. ever since.
