A guy recently mentioned this routine to me and I wonder if this type of workout would be good for me?

If any routine is called The (Whatever) Workout, you can pretty much guarantee it's a silly gimmick.

The Spartacus Challenge ia actually a really effective circuit. It tends to be for slightly more advanced people and it's pretty high intensity. We studied it on my PT course and it can help produce great results.

Google it and decide for yourself. It very much depends on what you want to achieve. I suspect it may not be the best for you personally at this time.

Oooh. For some reason I was thinking the 300 Workout, which was a pretty generic workout selling itself as what Gerard Butler did for the movie when it clearly wasn't.

Join a crossfit gym... you get the same results as the spartacus set minus the frustrating gimmick. icon_smile.gif

Someone posted a video on here last year with a link to the Spartacus workout. It looked pretty intense so I did it a half-dozen times or so. It's a great overall body circuit workout. It's particularly good to throw in periodically just to shake things up a bit and give your body something different. It would be good for anyone that wants to push themselves.
