Mitt Romney: Job Creator?

One of the many victims of Romney's Bain Capital tells his story.
I guess the important thing is that even though Romney eliminated the companies, fired hundreds (thousands?) of workers, he was successful at lining his own pockets. This is what counts as succeeding in today's Republican Party -- enrich yourself, regardless of how many lives you ruin or how much you damage your country. Sad.

If you want to do a bit more digging than a video from MoveOn, the following links to some studies that shed light on the relationship between private equity, job creation, and job destruction.

This is Romney's Achilles heel and, while this MoveOn ad is a good start, I'm sure the Obama campaign will scorch the earth with this message.

It will be very effectively countered with interviews of middle class Americans whose jobs were saved and how it helped save their homes, etc. It will also be countered with the jobs lost from Solyndra, etc. under the watch of Obama the Venture Capitalist.

I suspect that "middle class Americans whose jobs were saved by Romney" will be as easy to find as the millionaire "jobs creators" that no one can seem to find. As for Solyndra, that dog won't hunt. The majority of Americans see through this vapid attempt to paint "socialist, Kenyan Obama" as a crony capitalist.

But it does seem the left and the right can agree on Romney being not so much a venture capitalist as a corporate radar. Just look at Newt's ad:

The right-wing is going to knee cap all of it's candidates before Obama runs his first ad.

The specific ads against each other will be forgotten. Remember how biting the Hillary Clinton vs Obama ads were. Sure it will give fodder to the Obama team, but nothing they would not have come up with anyway. Once the nominee is chosen, a multi-pronged attack against Obama will become intense.

So you keep saying but it's the content of those attacks that will matter.
