    You are so right! We forget to stop and think about the people that are having a rough time. I'm with you Sahem. They are all in my thoughts too.

    Been through Katrina. Hope FEMA treats you better than they treated New Orleans. Best wishes pal.

    I feel for y'all along the river. I hope for few if any casualties and that recovery is fast and as painless as possible.

    When you get through this, write your representatives and demand limits on impervious cover in the watershed where you live, as well as upstream. Demand wetland/riparian/prairie restoration as well. Most flooding would be far less destructive if there were plants and wetlands to slow the water down, store it, and release it back into the air instead of having it end up in your living rooms.
