I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to add to my playlist, and having last.fm is great to find new stuff by similar artists (like Pandora, but out of Britain). So I'm curious what are some of your favorite pump music tracks to blast while you're at the gym?

I'm starting to like dubstep more, but still love my heavy metal and rap.

A couple of artists I like are:

    Avery Watts
    Glitch Mob
    Eminem
    Macklemore
    Bassnectar

How about yourself? Feel free to post videos or links too. I'll add some later, I'm just running late to the gym now icon_razz.gif

I like to listen to what I classify as "angry" music when I'm at the gym. Whether it be hip hop, rock, or techno, as long as I feel rage or "pumped" as most people like to call it, I'll listen to it. Some may just contain elements of loudness and hard-hitting beats that get me in that mindset.

Several songs you can find in this playlist:

    "N*ggas in Paris" by Jay-Z & Kanye
"Smack My B*tch Up" by Prodigy
"Sofi Needs A Ladder" by Deadmau5
    "Creator" by Santogold
    "Dragula" by Rob Zombie
    "Disposable Teens" by Marilyn Manson
"When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000
    "Cream" by Federico Franchi
    "Bombs over Baghdad" by Outkast
    "She's A B*tch" by Missy Elliott

The right kind of music definitely gets me going through some tough workouts!

It depends on my mood or what songs I've been stuck on.
Anything electronic and fast is usually good, so is any good rap with good rhythm. Or the mix of the two.

This is my favorite angry, pump-you-up music out right now... definitely not for everyone's tastes!

Ohh! Love that one too, a very good one - I've just been too lazy to add it to my ipod, but I do listen to it occasionally on the drive in.

Excellent suggestions on the rest from everyone too, gonna take me a while to get through them all.

    Thanks!

a friend of mine makes mixtapes with house/uk funky,/garage/bassline style music. so far he's released six of them and they're a really good boost in your ear at the gym if you ask me.
note that i mostly listen to hiphop/reggae/dancehall/soul/RnB, but these tapes got me!
regular house or techno can be too monotone for my taste. this has a bit more jiggy/bouncy/unexpected rythms to it that really appeals to me

check it out here if you're intrested:

I love the uber happy dancey faggoty music for the gym. I have a zillion of Grind's podcasts to keep me hyper and focused.
