Gaining muscle without gaining fat.

    For anyone who is willing to help out:

    Basic Bottom line:

    I've been a runner my entire life, always been very underweight at 6'3 and between 155-175 lbs. I picked up at mass gainer, but its very high in carbs and calories.

    What is the best way to use it and gain muscle? I've been working out for the past 3-4 months, and while i have gotten a bit stronger, I don't feel like I have put on any muscle.

    Also, is it ok do to cardio while trying to gain? I've been told different things.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I'm in a simmilar possition and have just started Intermittent Fasting..... basicly fasting for 16 hours after dinner through the night and untill midday - then eating over the next 8 hours and training midway.

    From the fasting description its easy to think that this will not pack on lean muscle, but please have a look at the website for the science behind the claims.
