Are there any words that you always spell wrong but you don't mean to you just subconsciously do it? I always, ALWAYS spell "definitely" wrong. I always spell "definately" and I always say as I'm writing "Alright I'm not going to spell it wrong" and then I do lol.

That is the big one but there are definately more.

    How about you guys?

I could never get my Russian Volga Boatman perfect. My teacher Igor Vasiliev would cut my arm and pour vodka on it because I always messed up the chorus!

    Gosh I wish..............

Yep, that's definitely one of mine, too. But we're talking keyboard, right? Cause I rarely misspell when handwriting, just keyboarding, true typos. For instance, I frequently transpose the letters A and L, dunno why, so that words like "alone" come out as "laone."

I also have trouble with homonyms, spelling them correctly but misusing them. I think it's related to the fact that when keyboarding I mentally dictate to myself, and some part of my brain hears the verbal sound and doesn't think of the context. I have to go back and review what I've typed, and then I'll see an error that I couldn't "hear."

There's no such thing as "subconsciously" misspelling a word.

    There's only laziness.

Laziness in either looking up the correct spelling of the word or reviewing what one just wrote for spelling errors/typos.

But relax. I'm guilty of it too.
