    I wish I could.

There was one guy I worked with on a project who could nap any time, any place. We could be bouncing down a mountain road and his head would be banging off the side of the window, totally out. Of course he partied all night sometimes too. So jealous.

I love a good nap... right before a workout too! icon_smile.gif
On my side with my back against the back of the couch... one dog by my tummy, and another behind my knees.

Haha I do this all the time. I sleep like a rock.

Took 10-15mins naps all the time in college, sometime on a bench in-between classes.

At work would do it on the ride to a work site and back, can fall asleep in no time when I'm a passenger in a car, never understood how.

I wish I could take a nap every day, but it wouldn't work with my work.

My sleep doctor says naps should be avoided because they negatively affect sleep health and sleep schedule regularity. But has said naps of under 30 minutes affect the schedule minimally.

I've read about 20 minute naps being good for requiring less sleep overall.

Personally, I can't take a nap and wake up after that long. I will either sleep for 3 hours or the whole night. So I don't nap at all.

I almost always fall asleep for an hour or longer. Amazingly, naps don't fuck up my regular sleep.

I love nap time. I always want to take a nap after I exercise icon_rolleyes.gif

I used to nap from about 4-5:30 pretty much every day. It was a habit I got into during elementary school and I continued with it through high school and even university. I used to nap and then go to track practice. I can still nap pretty much anywhere, any time including falling asleep on turbo prop planes and missing the landings, or on random bus rides through cambodia with the window wide open only to wake up with a completely black face from the bus's exhaust!

This always reminds me of the importance of taking a nap.

ALL I EVER REALLY NEEDED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN article from Robert Fulgham, Kansas City Times

Most of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do and how to be, I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain but there in the sandbox at nursery school.

These are the things I learned:

Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some, and think some, and draw and paint, and sing and dance, and play and work every day some.

Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands and stick together. Be aware of, wonder. Remember the little seed in the plastic cup. The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.

Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the plastic cup…they all die. So do we.

And then remember the book about Dick and Jane and the first word you learned, the biggest word of all…LOOK! Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation.
Ecology and politics and sane living.

Think of what a better world it would be if we all…the whole world…had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankets for a nap. Or if we had a basic policy in our nation and other nations to always put things back where we found them and cleaned up our own messes. And, it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out in the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

oh ^^ reminds me, I wake up from a nap with a gross taste in my mouth that doesn't happen in the morning. I can't associate it with anything else but napping. And no, it's not someone cumming in my mouth when I'm asleep, I know my cum taste and that ain't it.

I avoid napping, as it tends to disrupt my sleep later on. Otherwise, I am a very sound sleeper.

Spontaneous naps are the best, but I tend to nap for over 4 hours on my busy days. I guess that would be considered sleeping icon_biggrin.gif
