Hey Guys!

2011 was a complicated year for me... a lot of changes, a relocation across the continent, family issues to sort through, and a foot injury. Because of that, my fitness regimen went out the window for a large part of the year.

So now I'm essentially "starting over" for 2012.

The first step for me is cardio and general conditioning. Already have gotten a few work-outs in for 2012, and I have high confidence on this particular front.

Where I am lacking confidence is in strength training, and area where I have fared less well in the past. Anyone have any recommendations on routines/programmes aimed at getting someone started? Where perhaps there's some guidance to help you not to dive in too quickly and avoid over-extending yourself?
