Does anyone have a confirmed diagnosis of hypoglycemia? (I know a lot of people who claim they have it but probably don't.) How do you get tested for it? How accurate are the tests?

Before you say anything, yes, I already asked my doctor about this. He didn't give me a very good answer.

My ex went for a test for this it involved drinking sugar water and 6 different periodic blood tests done in one day It took her a whole day for the test 11am to 5pm. The result from the 3rd to 6th test showed the endocrinoligist she was hypoglycemic. Diabetes didn't run in her family either. There was a very long questionaire as I recall as well.

All day glucose test....I had to give a vial of blood every hour and after a long day of testing, they determined I was hypoglycemic.

    Thanks guys!

Did you go to a primary care doctor to request the test, or did you see a specialist?
