You must have met them... girls that would make fun of people and usually its one girl that does all the cracking with some admiring girls around them... I once met a group in high school and the main girl would crack gay stuff at me.. and the girls around her would laugh... I didnt say anything, i tend to ignore peopl... but the next day she would start yelling my name again somewhere in the school in a gay fashion so everybody could hear.. her "croonies" would laugh... trying to get negative attention so to speak.. and i got quite annoyed at the obnoxious loudness.. so i yelled back out... "is it you again with your little screeching parrots following you around?" quite loud enough for everyone to hear as well.... and I had no idea that would shut them up so fast... I just yelled the first thing in my mind... they backed off straight away and looked embarrassed... never bothered me again.. in fact, we were quite cordial after that

    So, any mean girl stories?

A very familiar story for me going through High School in country Australia. We had mean girls from two different factions - the popular and the dregs. Each would have their harem of girl followers who would laugh on queue and took any opportunity to humiliate guys that weren't as blokey (butch) as was expected of men (not only females have expectations of what they should be and how they should act)!

I know people don't advocate violence... but one day in the 8th grade, this new kid at school thought it'd be cool to pick on me. I had been bullied a TINY bit by others (just made fun of a lot, for whatever reason), and this kid took it as his good-to-go pass.

We were walking to a classroom to use a projector, and he called me a "fag" and said some other things. I shoved his face into the corner of a cabinet, threw him on the ground, and punched him several times until the police officer that worked on campus came and broke us up. I did this all in front of the class.

I feel bad, now that I look back.... but boy did it pay off. He was a scapegoat, but everyone else left me alone. Sometimes, the only thing a person understands is pain. You know at that age words don't mean anything, especially if a person is too stupid to understand their own lack of intelligence and wrongfulness.

Would I ever respond with violence again? Absolutely not! I have smarter ways of dealing with things now.

Yep, your experience was my elementary, middle, and high school experiences. I got along better with the guys because of girls like those that I seemed to always encounter.

The funny thing is: I did an immersion program back in '04, and ran into a woman/girl just like this. I was like, wtf? will this shit ever end?

Edit: the mean girl in elementary school was the one that called me a fag, sissy, etc. By middle and high school, that had ceased. But there was one girl that I would butt heads with and it was usually the popular girl.

I grew up in a small town. In High School I was a bit of a nerd and a drama geek. Was made fun of quite a bit. After I graduated, I moved to the city, got a make over from a modeling agency, hit the gym, and really started to live. During our 10 year reunion, I went back to that small town, and most of the people that made fun of me were still living there, they gained weight, and didn't seem all too happy. Even the ones that would not give me the time of day back then tried to chat me up.

It's funny what a few years, self confidence, success and a gym can change. I still feel a bit like a nerd, and made a career out of being a drama geek, but being happy is the best revenge there is.icon_biggrin.gif

Only one instance when I was in 9th grade. I had just finished a varsity tennis match and this very masculine lesbian started to rip on me. It was very uncomfortable as I wanted to beat her up but couldnt cause no matter how macho she was she still has a vagina. But I got my mexican chola friends to teach her a lesson the day after heh

Both Jr. High and High School were nightmares! I try not to think about those very unhappy times in my life if I can possible help it. I knew many mean girls and they loved to make fun and humilate others of both sexes whom they percieve to be weaker and more vulnerable. They know they have power and they use it! They're basically bullies, and until schools and the parents of the bullied take direct action against not only the bullies but their parents this behavior will continue and grow. As bad as it was when i was in school it seems worse now. I wouldn't go back to those years for anything and I really feel sorry for those kids who have to deal with this shit now!

I was waiting for someone to do a thread like this.

It was senior year September 7th, 2007 for the previous couple of weeks i was being bullied by a freshman chick named Kaitln who made fun of me because i wear glasses due to my bad eye sight, One day in lunch i told some friends about my upcoming scheme to get even. The scheme? Cuss her out in front of all of the choir students and instructor himself to make her look incredibly stupid and humiliated. Kaitln ignitated the fight between us like i wanted her too icon_twisted.gif And from that moment on i went completely off on her calling her a fat black ghetto whore skank that sucks dick for crack and even called her mama a crack whore who wasted her life by fucking dudes to put cash on the table. After i saw her being ridiculed and humiliated i was told to go to the office right after i told her to kiss my big black fat ass. I was given a $300 dolla ticket and spent time in jail to even the fee. At the point in time i didn't really give a damn because i got even and Kaitln got exactly what she deserved but i know now that a Mean Girl like her ain't worth it icon_neutral.gif

I got bullied a bit in a middle school mostly from guys calling me the typical anti-gay slurs. One girl from my neighborhood used to taunt me and my neighbor as gay (I was, he wasn't) just because we always sat together on the bus. Needless to say, no one ever took her seriously because she was the biggest redneck, white trash girl you could ever imagine. But she was the only "mean girl" I remember ever causing me a bit of trouble. I suspect she was a bully because she was bullied herself for being white trash.

Fortunately all the bullying from everyone stopped once I entered high school.

Rafiki your point is so true. I grew up with 2 sisters and they could both be quite mean, but on the rare occassions when I would give it back to them, they would just fall a part. I think most girls are like that actually. I actually ask guys to be patient with them most of the time because they really can not take back from a guy what they give out. Girls have to deal with so much from other girls that I don't think most of us guys really have a clue how hard it is for them, especially in high school. Just my two cents.
