Hey,

About 3 weeks ago I started a diet, to get in shape again. I lost 11 lbs since, now I've decided also to work out at the gym. So, I'm planning to do spinning for losing fat, and weightlift to build muscles.

Well, I'd like to know if it's convenient if I start drinking those Protein Shakes?

Do you recommend protein shakes if I wanna lose weight/mass & build muscles at the same time?

Hey Boeing_Flyer I won't use protein shakes... I'll use all natural whey healthier protein meal. It look like protein shake, but this product will help gain muscles and have all vitamins. Protein shakes on other hand will gain more body fat easier for after few months without exercising.

I suggest you to try the "all natural whey healthier protein meal." It come with all different kind of flavors.

Hey Samer,

Thanks for the answer.

I'll try to find the "all natural whey healthier protein meal" here, if I don't I'll have to wait until I go to U.S. for simulator check in august.

Until then, I'll train without any shakes, powders, etc.
Just my diet.

Also protein shakes have tons of excitotoxins (L-Methionine) etc... which in high quantities are really harmful to your brain cells. Lot of people don't care.

In addition, most of them contain Aspartame and/or other artificial sweeteners to reduce carbohydrate content; these are also harmful to your body, especially in doses found in powders/protein bars.

A bit of muscle gain now can have serious consequences in a few years down the road. Go for alternatives, the one above is pretty good, but there are many others. Read the labels.

Peace
