Samsung is awesome. Their technological advances are better then most electronic companies out there:

    Television
    Home theater
    Computers
    Mobile (cellular)

They are really the only company to battle Apple. I do feel they are Apple's #1 contender for the future.

And that's why Apple is suing them. Too scared of the competition. icon_lol.gif

No... this is why apple is suing Samsung (see link below). It's because Samsung is so frigging lame and lazy that you can't tell the samsung phones, tablets, chargers and packaging from apple's. The phone(s) in question is such an exact copy that Samsung uses the same little white dots on the front screen of apps to show how many total pages of apps there are... exact same form factor, exact same charger cables...right down to the phone icon... embarrassing and lazy. Samsung needs to have their ass sued. Wouldn't have been an issue if Samsung had thought of their own designs at the time the lawsuits were filed. Samsung has now 'fixed' many of apple's complaints in their newer products but the IP infringement claims are still valid.

This, haha. Innovation is the name of the game. Just because Apple is a one trick pony doesn't mean people aren't allowed to do it better.

That's pretty sweet, it's basically the Greystone's livingroom window (Caprica, anyone?). While I wouldn't buy it as a 'window' I'd buy a 'transparent TV'.

This year's CES is nuts. In a good way. Lots of "convenience" gadgets/technology for home/lifestyle. Samsung introduced an internet enabled fridge a few years back. I think this year, they introduced some type of connected washer/dryer. I forgot the details, but essentially you can check the status of your laundry through your smartphone. Pretty lavish, but kinda neat if you have a need for something like that.

Internet enabled fridge, wifi enabled washer/dryer to check the status on my phone....as if Americans aren't lazy and fat enough already. But yeah, cool technology.
