So I live in Vancouver, BC. Canada.

Tickets to LV can be found for like 38- for airfare, taxes and 2 nights at a palce on the strip.

is LV the type of aplce I can go alone? Will I still have fun?

How much should I expect to spend for getting into clubs/bars?

    And for drinks?

Or any other cheapish suggestions? looking for under 700, and sometimes around march/april maybe?

Vegas is a really fun place and a lot of trouble can be had but you must be careful. I really really wouldnt suggest going alone. if your lookin on having fun for cheap its very possible if you plan and you cam really have a lot of fun on a budget. If you cant find a buddy to come with, pay close attention to your alcohol levels and your surroundings and have fun!

I would suggest not going alone to Las Vegas.

There are casinos and gambling in downtown Vancouver. What is your motivation for going to Vegas? Its a cheese fest with overpriced food and drink.

A very nice friend of mine named Will lives in Vegas (he goes by the name of Malefeet on RJ). I think he would be able to offer you much assistance in this area.

Vancouver has 3-4 gay bars and the same 150 people every time. It's nothing special, and I know everyone in the city, people talk. I'm turning 21, I don't wan tto worry about gossip and arguments and people bitching.

Plus Ill still be going out her ewith some friends first, but I also kinda wanna go somewhere? Vancouver is a fairly boring city for it's ngihtlife.

If you want nightlife I would suggest New York, New Orleans, San Francisco, or Miami for your 21st.

For the 3 years I lived in Vancouver I never once went to any of the clubs or bars except for that Martini bar that was long and narrow a couple times (the name escapes me).

And the problem is, all of those, abrring SF are on the east coast. If I was back in Tdot that would be perfect, but I'm not.

Plus being 20 right now, I don't really have the moeny to jet off to SF>

Vegas is just... pretty cheap bundles.

Though I suppose I know people in SF, if I stayed with them the whole weekend I'd be tied to them the whole weekend too?

Go to Vegas just to see it.. 2 nights is plenty there.. My partner and I took some of those cheap deals from Vanc when we first got together.

And ignore all the don`t go anywhere alone shit... I hitchiked and took trains all across Europe even into Morocco all by myself when I was 16 y.o.. Not lying. When I lived in Vancouver I used to go down to SF , Portland etc by myself and had lots of fun...
Christ if I`d worried about going by myself I`d have never seen 90% of the places I`ve been to on this planet.

Take advantage of it and GO !!!!
