I wasn't sure where else to post this, so I figured general health would be the best option. I've been thinking about aesthetically shaving my head for a while now. I wanted to know if any of you guys out there had recommendations for brands of razors/trimmers to get. I already have a body groomer, by norelco, which I really like, but I can't use it for the old noggin. Let me know what you guys use.

I use a Gillette Mach 3 razor 3x a week to shave my noggin. If you aren't planning to shave all the way, any commercially available clippers will do to give you a close to the scalp buzz. Before I shaved my head "all the way" I used Vidal Sassoon clippers to gradually go shorter before taking the plunge.

Try using the Headblade. It is specially designed for shaving your noggin.

Friend of mine uses a regular electric shaver. It gets very close to the skin. But it's really time consuming, since he has to do multiple passes to get it down to the skin.

When I first started I was using an electric razor that did a fairly good job. However after doing it for a while I wanted to get that completely smooth feel that you can only get with a straight edge. I use Mach 3 razor every day. Will never go back!
