Do you ever think about what you accomplished, learned, or enjoyed in a single day of your life? Was it just a day where you got up, ate, did a little of this and that, maybe watched TV, and then went to bed? Or did you strive to make it a spectacular day with new sights, do something new, create something, tell someone you love them?

I just watched your entire drumming video. Boy, get your 23-year-old ass to VA so this wrestler and can show you lovin'. Seriously, 48 is the new 34. You'll realize that when you're.....40.

I will trap you in a wrestling hold you will never get out of....if you like that sort of thing. icon_wink.gif

There have been many days in my life like this. Achieving a milestone of some sort, whether in my personal or professional life, tens to be it. What can I say, I'm goal oriented.

Today, just getting in to the gym given the adverse weather (snow on the west coast... gahhh!) will be making the most of the day. Though I won't be doing my usual 40 minute walk to get there, which feels like cheating. icon_smile.gif

Buying my first home was pretty big for me. It was during the housing boom and it was difficult finding a home at the time. Things would sell so quickly. They had a lottery to decide who could purchase first and we got to pick the first lot in the first phase. It took a long time to feel financially comfortable enough to buy a home in the first place. We got to see it being built and it was fun picking out the stuff in the design center. It was fun and a little scary at the time. This May/June will be 10 years.

Paying off my Triplex in under 15 yrs. rocked my world recently!
Knocking off any montly debt, i.e. paying off a car etc. is always exciting!
No longer making a mortgage/rent payment or paying off a car is like receiving and instant raise on your Paycheck!

Congratulations! It will probably take me a little longer than 15 years. The economy slowed me down. But I'm not going to complain, I see enough neighbors with 2 incomes coming in that have been foreclosed on. I'm on my own and I have never been late. ***crosses fingers***

Went out at dawn to telemark in 18" of fresh snow.

Then spent the rest of the day shoveling snow, tending generators, and telling customers that their projects are delayed at least another two days, until our power comes back on.
