Would it be a help or a hindrance to have his endorsement?

Bush is ranked as one of the best US presidents. Should be a huge momentum boost with his support.

    LOL

I'm sure all the Repub candidates are nauseous at the very thought of getting endorsed by Dubya!

But clearly - fellow corporate tool/spoiled rich boy Willard Romney is the one Bush would pick.

Why? Bush is one of the greatest Presidents in US history.

    Which ranking is this?
Bush remains hated by a large majority of the Americans I seem to come into contact with. If you are not already a republican and voting republican, I would doubt that hearing anything from the former president would be welcome news. You just know Mitt would hate to be seen with him, you see how uncomfortable he was with McCain?
Nah, Bush rightfully is blamed for driving this country into a ditch, let him stay in Texas and get drunk with the dumbass governor.

I do not expect a former President would make any endorsement, just as they tend not to comment on successors' policies.

He's pretty well intent on staying out of it and keeping quiet. Say what you wish in re: his presidency, but he's been a gentleman as a former president.

Yes FreedomGeezer - Dubya has been a gentleman since the end of his term, He'd better keep his mouth shut because he's in a hell of a lot of trouble, Dubya cannot even leave the country he's so disliked, anyone know another president that disliked ? I'd keep my damn mouth shut too if I were him.

DUBYA should endorse Perry, because they're both dumb as a bucket of rocks.

Strangely, Perry and Dubya hate each other. Old money vs New money thing...

I don't know about Dubya, but lately Bush Senior and his wife said they would like to see Jeb Bush run. If Dubya is of the same mindset, that pretty much tells you they don't care for either of the candidates running.

Hell, I wanted Jeb to run, and I'm the daddy of daddies.
