Gingrich said today that if he didn't win in SC Saturday, then a Moderate (who else but Romney) would get the nomination and OBAMA WOULD WIN. POOR POOR GINGRICH, he fears his party will lose without him !!! What an arrogant joke he is. Gingrich is down by about 15 points from Romney and Paul is gaining steam.

A lot of the 'good' lil christian fundi's will 'forgive and forget' Gingrich's indiscretions. Hell, if they want their godly war for Israel, they've got to forgive Gingrich, because he's the best war hawk they have. Still, I don't think there will be enough forgiveness to bring Gingrich into the winning position over Romney. I guess Romney's Mormonism and representing the 1% is easier to forgive when you think about it. LOL

Gingrich has now taken a strong lead in SC. What does this mean for the GOP establishment candidate Romney?

Are repubs so steeped in ignorance on a nationwide scale that they would actually on choose the crooked and immoral Gingrich to run as their candidate for president ? The thought is appalling !!

No former Speaker of the House has such a corrupt history as his, not one was removed for so many violations of ethics rules.

What does it say about Gingrich that he would oversee the spending of $50 milion to remove Clinton from Office while he was doing worse on every subject he was coming down on Clinton over.

Just imagine picking this crook as president to represent the US abroad, the world pays attention and would be anything but impressed by such a crooked, I am just amazed at republicans in general and Christian Fundi's in particular for their ability to set aside facts so they can forward their agenda's.

Keep in mind also that one big reason Gingrich has increased popularity is because of $5 million from Adelson, a known dual national who also strongly supports Netanhahu's intransigence that has embarassed the US many a time as we give them Carte Blanche approval for internationally known illegal acts. These people are the very reason the US is so Isolated in the Middle East and becoming more so among the Europeans. They know as Friedman wrote in the New York Times that our "CONGRESS IS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR"

Gingrich is the very last person we need to be running for President, much less become president.

GO RON PAUL and I hope to hell he runs as an independent.

Looks like Romney will have to wait for Florida. Santorum won Iowa and Gingrich is likely to take South Carolina.

Question of the day: Hold your nose and vote for Romney? Or buck the establishment and make a statement with Gingrich?

It kind of means what I think many expected -- that this GOP race isn't going to be over in the first 3 states --- which is okay. This is good for the process, and once there is a nominee the whole picture is going to look a lot different than it does right now
