Is this guy serious? Why is he even allowed back on the air again. He is clearly has a problem with minorities. For him to be on the radio poisoning listeners ears sickens me.

Prolly it's a ploy to get attention for his show. Has his new show done very well?

I do not even listen to him. I stumbled across this while looking at other websites.

He doesn't need attention for his show, he needs attention to sell his brother's salsa and crap....

I can't get mad at Don. He is like that grandfather who doesn't know any better.

When you've been in the biz as long as someone like Imus you don't do ploys like this to get attention. He clearly has an issue and it's now surfacing and escaping out on his show.

His personal feelings are getting mixed in with his professional life and it's gonna cost him dearly if he keeps it up. First time he did it he got quite the shock from the public and that should've been his reality check but apparently he needs another one and this one might get cashed in full.

That is really just sick. Just because you are old does not give you the right to make racist remarks like that.

Shit would hit the fan, if it was said down here, and rightly so.

Which amendment was it that said you have the right to not be offended by comedians?

Or was it one of the commandments?

Come on. Give me a break.

"Freedom of speech is kind of a zero-sum proposition. Either you believe in it or you don’t. Now, whether you agree with what Imus said or not, or found it funny, he had the right to say it. It has never been about what somebody calls you, it’s what you answer to. I mean, I wouldn’t take Don Imus seriously. He looks like a werewolf that didn’t finish changing, don’t he? It’s like he was just about to be a werewolf, but then the sun came out." -DL Hughley

Make it a law. Persecute everyone who makes racist comments (with no special circumstances given for race), or no one. And leave a crazy old man to try to make a living.

    Whatever.

If people got as hopped up about real injustice-- like 40 million uninsured Americans or the economy or the hundreds of thousands of murdered Iraqis or the ongoing crisis in Zimbabwe-- as we do about trivial matters like Don Imus, the world would be a better place.

So he's racially insensitive: who cares? It's like being surprised that Dr. Laura making an offensive comment about gay men. It's par for the course, move on to real issues.

He has the right...yes it's blatant and sick, however, first amendment.

Don Imus was being sarcastic. He's being racially insensitive, not racist.

He should have chosen his words more carefully, especially after the comments he made months ago that got him fired from his last job.
