So ... this is my first car ...

    1977 Ford Thunderbird

Honestly, I miss that car and yes, I know it's a boat to park, but driving was just heaven.

So, what was your first car?

A 1984 Honda Accord. Loved it... got amazing gas mileage. Eventually traded it in for a small pickup, and a few months later was rear ended by a kid going about 45mph in a full size truck. As much as I loved that little car, it probably wouldn't have been enough to keep me safe in that situation.

My first car was also a Honda Accord, the 2001 Model. It was a good car with good gas mileage. I would still be driving it now, but it was totaled by a driver who ran a red light and totaled my car.

    In 1966 I wanted this Triumph TR4:

Instead, I was given this for my birthday:

My Father said I wouldn't kill myself with only 50 bhp. My Mother thought it was cute and I would attract girls with it. icon_eek.gif

My Father was right, though it did manage to kill my reputation. My Mother was wrong, the only females who ever rode it in being herself and my Sister. icon_razz.gif

My high school car was mom's Buick Wildcat 455. A 17 year old with the top down and 370 hp under the hood. What could possibly go wrong with that?

We were surrounded. Across the street was Austin Healy, next to them was Alpine and then north of us a MGB and south was a TR4 irs (my first love, the boi that is). And way up the street was a shitfire.

I wanted dad to get a Tiger, but he bought a 67 Ghia vert. They were concerned about anything with any power since I would be driving fairly soon. All of 53 hp took care of that.

Funny, A friend and I drove naked almost all the way from Reno to Vegas in a 1970 Deuce. Same engine though. Great tan line from the seat belts.

I truly do miss my car.

Man, if I could update it and make it fuel efficient? That would SO ROCK!

An old chevy farm pickup I literally dug up out of the mud in a pasture. I got it basically for the labor of salvaging it. Carried a tool box around the whole time I had it to fix whatever broke on that particular trip. Hated it, but it got me places and the price was right.

my first car was and still is 2009 Ford edge..AWD red. i love it...i went camping in dec and i camped out in the back..pulled down the seats..me and my friends had fun. I love driving it on the highways as even though its a suv- corssover it moves like a sports car. Highway mileage is really good and the best time to drive it is during winter..snowy days as it maneuvers well on slippery roadways and in high snow. Last year i actually tried doing donuts in an open lot in the snow but my lack of driving experience didnt make it come off sexy like in the vid below.

I LOVE the Mk1 and Mk2 Cortinas. Where did you own them, in the States? I had no idea the early pommy Fords made their way there!

'67 GTO - not this one, mine was white with a black interior. Bought it used for $1000. Now they're worth a Hell of a lot more.......should have kept it!
