I hope Gingrich gets the nomination.

Watching that huge, narcissistic ego famously go down in flames is better than reality TV.

I still can't forget Gingrich's monumental hypocrisy in impeaching President Bill Clinton for having an affair, at the same time he was secretly having one himself.

And NOW he's affronted that his private life is being discussed? And his ethics violations in Congress haven't even really hit the fan yet.

He's lyingly called that episode a "partisan" plot against him, but 90% of Republicans in Congress voted against him. Yeah, it was partisan, all right... by his fellow Republicans!

And the chair of the bipartisan Ethics Committee, comprised 4/4 Repub & Dem members, was a Republican herself! That voted 7-1 to recommended action against Gingrich by the full House. Yep, I never heard of anything so "partisan" in my life as Newt now claims. What a bald-faced f***ing liar!

Oh, but don't you know his **ideas** are so innovative and forward thinking that he's the ONLY one who can bring us into the New American Century....lol

The best chance the GOP has outside the Second Coming of Barry Goldwater.

The thing is, Romney hasn't really even begun to pull out all the stops and unleash the Anti-Gingrich stuff. If Newt thinks it's been nasty thus far, he had better fasten his seatbelt. That being said, if Newt Gingrich should become the nominee, he should be glad that the nastiness is all coming at him now so it all becomes old news by summer when he has to face the Obama machine.

The New American Century where you cheat on straight spouses, and swap them out as often as you would a new shirt? All the time claiming you're defending "family values" and the "sanctity of marriage" against the gay onslaught?

If straights would look to the gay example I could show them dozens of same-sex couples I personally know who've been together 20 or more years. Some exceed 40.

I truly think there is little difference between gays & straights when it comes to fidelity. We gays stray from our mates, and straights stray. We have life-long relationships, and they have life-long relationships.

But a shameless philanderer like Gingrich, were he straight or gay, could never earn my respect. Nor my vote.

    A shame, no doubt.

He's the best candidate out of the clutch of snakes running for the GOP nomination.

    - He won't sign a NOM inspired amendment to roll back gay rights

    - He will remove us for the over-reaching and intrusive power of the UN

    - He would have us honour the Constitution as the law of the land, and not legislate through signing statements and executive orders as has become the custom of the last dozen or so presidencies

    - He will respect gun ownership rights per the 2nd amendment and not sign the UN small arms treaty as Hillary and Obama have practically sworn to do

    - He would end all foreign wars of US aggression and retrench our military back into the USA and its territories

    - He would bring accountability to the Federal Reserve Board and reduce he scope of federal government

All the other idiots would just be a retread a path somewhere between that of Bush 43 and Obama.

    Go Ron Paul. icon_smile.gif

    Or this:
"It doesn't matter what I do. People need to hear what I have to say. There's no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn't matter what I live." - Newt.

Well... I suppose he is at least more "honest" in his megalomania than the rest of the snakes in the GOP field.
