Romney campaign trucking in Mormon youth to S. Carolina to drum up fake "momentum"

"The campaign has been buzzing about growing energy at recent events...

But this wasn't a grassroots youth movement rooted at the University of South Carolina. No, many of the students cheering on the candidate told BuzzFeed they were actually BYU students and young Mormons from D.C. and Virginia who traveled to the Palmetto State to give their coreligionist's presidential effort a much-needed jolt of energy.

Kat Wardle, a 23-year-old BYU student who is spending the semester in Washington, D.C., said she and several young Latter-Day Saints have been following Romney around the state, playing the role of cheerleaders at various campaign stops."

Apparently paid for by the Romney campaign.

But the Mormons have experience telling other states how to vote:

    From commentary on AmericaBlog:
It's what the Mormons did during Prop 8 in California as well. In California, they single-handedly turned a losing initiative to take marriage rights away from gay couples into a winner by trucking in a gazillion volunteers and then dropping $20 million into the campaign - and voila, civil rights were repealed. Prepare for a lot more surreptitious Mormon meddling the further Romney goes.

How many students and no proof they were paid, only "apparently"?

Democrats and union members never cross state lines? Wisconsin?

If Romney is the nominee, apparent Democrats will use racism and Mormanism as issues. All I can say is bring it on. These discussions fire me up to research and provide ideas for PAC ads.

I would not get too overly confident Kitty Kat. Obama is vulnerable -- make no mistake about that. Do not underestimate the power of those who want him a one term president

Yes, I'm sure the racist anti-white campaigns to use against Romney are being developed as we speak. Since, as everyone knows, white people are such an unpopular minority in the U.S. icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you really miss the point intentionally? The attempt will be to try and label anything anti-Obama as racist. It will fail.

The point is that a lot of anti-Obama sentiment is racist. And the fact that Gingrich and other Republicans have been so brazen in their racism is firing up Obama's base while Romney leaves the Republican base cold.

Too bad your not "FIRE'd -UP TO RESEARCH" the facts behind why the candidates you like back unecessary wars.

Romney should know better than to truck in supporters, because in the end it amounts to nothing but an embarassment to his candidacy.

SoCal likened this to trucking in supporters against the Gov. of Wisconsins anti Union efforts, that however was and is now a national issue, while Romney's effort is personal.

While one was in Hawaii for all of September, I did not hear one person have one nice thing to say for him Obama, even those who voted for him regretted what they did to America.
