I have always DiISLIKED word "Dating" since always reminded me on "Just for a DAY" kind of situation LOL! and since I am more serious and Long Term oriented guy I kinda try and avoid to "DATE' but rather to SEE someone for certain period of time. Now my question is: How many people is COOL and ACCEPTABLE to "DATE" at the time, and what does including in Dating? What do you think guys is ethical to do?Can you see more than one person at the same time frame, does that include permission that you can kiss with all of them??Hmmm..Help me guys, let me know your thoughts and interpretations of "DATING"..Thanks:icon_smile.gificon_biggrin.gif

You make your own rules, and find people who are okay with those. There is no code for gay dating, and you`ll be hard pressed to even find people reach a consensus on the definition of dating.

    Helpful, right?

As long as you're not in a committed, monogamous relationship, you're entitled to date as many people as you want (even several simultaneously), and you're entitled to do as little or as much as you want sexually with them. Ultimately, it's your choice and not anyone else's.

    What he said.

When I have been single, I do whatever the hell I want, but I make a point not to mess around with guys who are in relationships and fooling around on the side, I don't like stepping into others drama.

If you're dating, there's no rule about the number of guys you're allowed to see (minimum or maximum) like the other guys said, provided you're not monogamous with any of them. Unless you've had the talk, monogamy is not implicit.
A rule that I go by is that I won't date more guys than I can make plans to date in a week, barring distance or travel issues. We might not go out every week, but just that I could go out with each of the guys I'm dating within a week. I figure if I can't make time for a guy, then it's disrespectful to him to string him along.

If you're dating several guys it's ok to kiss them all. Even if you weren't dating, it's ok to kiss other guys as long as you aren't monogamous with someone else.
Sex is ok too if you both want, as long as you aren't monogamous with someone else.
If you have an open relationship or are polyamorous, it's up to you to talk about what is and isn't acceptable.

Wow, I confess that I've never had the problem of wrestling with the issue of how many people I should limit myself to dating to understand the meaning of the word dating. Awwhh, what a burden you have to carry; so many guys and so little time.

I know this is mostly a woman's book, but gay people can also incorporate it into their own dating lifestyle. Every rule applies to us, but certain parts you sort of have to use your head (like the part that says, "don't email or instant message a guy first").

But honestly though, this book has got me thru some very tough times, and in fact I'm fixing to drop real jock after tonight and go back to studying my other books as my strength right now has plummeted to below sea level proportions and it's hard to feel better about yourself when you constantly have guys on realjock giving you 50 million opinions or criticism.

    Books are the real insight.
