Funny, the left screaming about releasing the Gingrich house ethics report. It's always been available right here

Just from reading the summary on the first few pages, it is clear that he made inaccurate and false statements. His integrity can be significantly challenged. If this is communicated effectively by either the Romney campaign or others, then the voters will have a decision to make. Do they enjoy his sharp barbs so much that they will vote to keep it going, only to lose the general election by millions of moderates who will get that message and are not as enamored by his rhetoric?

That what some of the pundit have been talking about.. they were saying that the GOP electorate is SO focused on trying to find someone who will 'debate', they're losing site of the idiot they might actually nominate that will lose the general to Obama!

Agree, but to put the SC voters in a better context, the Gingrich baggage had not been significantly exposed. You can blame the Romney campaign for that, but his previous posture as the presumptive nominee was to minimize attacking fellow Republicans for two reasons: 1) Primarily going after Obama to posture himself as the nominee, and 2) To minimize internal skirmishes to facilitate everyone coming together after he received the nomination.

Er, aren't they supposed to be voting for someone who will be considered superior to Obama by the majority of voters?

The public lashing of Newt Gingrich has not even really begun yet. I have no doubt that Romney & Co will be pulling out all stops and unleashing any and all Gingrich skeletons to be thoroughly vetted and aired in the media. It's not going to be pretty. At the same time, Romney will surely have a few storms to weather regarding his soon-to-be-released income taxes. Not that there is anything bad in them, but I am sure there will be things the Democrats (and perhaps Gingrich) will attempt to put some sort of negative spin on to confuse the public.

True, but its stuff that they can't understand. Shit, I doubt that Romney fully understood what his CPAs / tax attorneys were doing. Is it legal though? I bet that it will turn out that it was.

This is why I'm considering Santorum as an alternative.

    LOL!

Are you so blind that you STILL haven't noticed the fact that you Repubs have NO credible likeable electable alternative?

And maybe you and C73 could 'hook up'. You two would be perfect for one another. But, yes, to answer your question ... I am proudly blind and thanks for asking.

Well CuriousJock, I'm glad to see we agree again !!! and see how the Facts when all put together are overwelmingly against Gingrich and are not mere 'conspiracy theories' as you claimed on another topic post about this character Gingrich.

The other major strike against Gingrich is his $5 miilion funder Adelson, who is a dual national and major supporter of Netanyahu of the far right LIKUD Party of Israel, These people Adelson support are against Obama and want a Republican in the Presidency, Gingrich has been connected to these two since the 90's. Adelson is supporting Gingrich primarily because he talks like and supports the Far Right LIKUD's who are pushing for war with IRAQ.

Do some GOOGLE research on this subject, just like all the facts you put together to claim Gingrich has too much against him, so these facts I bring up make him a very very dangerous candidate and will lead the US down the wrong path.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FreedomGeezer, Your support of the likes of Santorum is nothing short of agreeing to hang yourself and flush your gay interests down the proverbial toilet. Simply put, there is no more ignorant a stand, than for you to take a stand for Santorum. I cannot help but wonder if you just take such stands to get a rise out of our more liberal readers. Surely your not really this dumb.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rick Rick, I've come to the conclusion that with all there is against these candidates, particularly with Gingrich and Santorum, that this time around Republicans have nothing but replacing Obama in mind, therefore they are totally blind to the affects of their actions, Hell !!! not just blind, they don't even give a shit about taking time for consideration, they just want that black (supposedly muslim) man out of their white house
