What are your guilty pleasures to eat either because they're incredibly unhealthy or frowned upon? Either that, or say what you're craving lately.

While I was on the treadmill a little while ago, I couldn't stop thinking about tacos de carnitas and fried ice cream.

Both of those are ok, Nico. The key is moderation.

Now, if I were eating your ass, I would be guilty of gluttony because there would be no moderation. icon_twisted.gif

Haha. I can't disagree with your statement about eating ass icon_wink.gif

Actually, I don't think tacos de carnitas are so bad compared to the fried ice cream. It's just that most varieties of tacos I prefer to make at home because I feel most Mexican restaurants come up short of what I like. Plus I like to make my own corn tortillas (which are healthier than flour) and pico de gallo. No restaurant can ever compare to the taste of homemade.

Meanwhile, I can't imagine getting fried ice cream anywhere other than at a Mexican restaurant. I don't care for whipped cream, so skip that.

Saltado de pollo is my favorite carb overload dish. Actually, any dish that incorporates french fries is my favorite dish. icon_lol.gif

    YES YES YES!

I just had a foodgasm. My mom and I often share this when we go to the Peruvian restaurant in my old hometown. They always serve a huge portion so definitely enough for two or three people. Mama and I are big eaters so it's only enough for the two of us.

GAMRican can feast on my ass while I feast on saltado de pollo.

Anything sweet. I have a terrible sweet tooth. Regular food wise anything that's Mexican from south of the border authentic to good old taco bell. Yum.

Believe me, glutton is the sin I would pursue if there were no adverse health effects from eating anything you want. Sex is wonderful and all, but people hurt people! Food doesn't hurt people icon_rolleyes.gif

None of you guys probably had jungle honey before, I'd reckon? In parts of Malaysia, honey bees live high up in the tallest of trees, and make honey from a wild variety of orchids. The end result is a concoction that is nearly brown to jet-black in colour, and if eaten in copious amounts, is reputed to have aphrodisiac qualities (or so most wild honey sellers and my paternal grandparents tell me).

The perfect accompaniment to any of the desserts as pictured in this thread (and I have half a bottle left in my cabinet if anyone wants to give it a try) icon_smile.gif

How does it taste compared to your average Honey?

On a totally different note - Ariodante must be sleeping as he hasn't posted on this topic yet!

It tastes just like regular farmed honey, only with a slightly stronger aroma. Some samples of wild honey tastes fantastically smoky, due to the fumes from branches gathered from the ground that had been set alight to chase away the bees during harvest.

As for its so-called aphrodisiac effects, I'd say it works well enough to uplift your eating experience (I can say from experience that having more than a spoonful with your favourite indulgence helps to bring about . . . interesting sensations). I'm just quoting this little-known exotic foodstuff as an accompaniment that most gluttons should bear in mind to have if they want to forgo their restraints and eat to their hearts content icon_wink.gif

I've got Ethiopian rainforest honey at home. Stronger tasting than normal honey.

    Starbucks Cranberry bliss bars.

    Outbacks Cinnamon Oblivion dessert plate.

    Double double from in-n-out.

We have five-brothers or whatever up here. But, inNout mastered the saltiness of the cheese.

May have to settle for a Carl's Junior 6 dollar Jalapeno burger instead. sigh.

    Anyone remember Haagen-Daaz Mayan Chocolate?
The hint of cinnamon did it for me.
Wish they'd bring it back or share a good recipe.
