I have a friend that told me that she just joined some web site to keep track of her calories and fat intake. They charge $47/month and I thought that was a little high. Got any recommendations?

Tap and Track is great - available on iPhone and can be sync'ed with a website. The website is a little weak but the app is great. It also helps you understand the protein / carb / fat intake each day.

There is also Daily Burn Tracker...does the as Tap and Track, but it can scan UPC labels if you buy the image reader for your phone.

Both will also keep track of excercise and help with tracking your weight.

Calorie Count App for iPhone. Adds up every nutritional value and averages out daily requirements based on Weight, Height, Age ect. I find it very well designed and it's very easy to navigate. Best of Luck!

    Muscle15 saidLivestrong.com is great

I agree, when I want to know the nutrition info for something or add up my daily totals, I've found this place the best by far. They have almost every type and brand of food you can imagine and if they don't, you can add it yourself.
