    Oh poor Mittens! icon_lol.gif

Washington PostPublic sours on Romney in January
    By Jon Cohen

The number of Americans with negative views of Mitt Romney has spiked in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, compounding the former Massachusetts governor’s challenges as he tries to rally from Saturday’s big loss in South Carolina.

Among independents, Romney’s unfavorable rating now tops 50 percent — albeit by a single point — a first in Post-ABC polling back to 2006. Just two weeks ago, more independents had favorable than unfavorable views of Romney; now, it’s 2 to 1 negative.

Romney’s losses since a Post-ABC poll conducted between the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary are not limited to independents. The number of Democrats viewing him unfavorably is up 10 percentage points, and among his fellow Republicans, negative ratings have jumped from 18 to 32 percent. (Prior to his Iowa performance, Romney’s unfavorable number had been higher than 18, but hadn’t been in the 30s among Republicans since early 2008.)

It really does feel like the momentum is building for Anyone-but-Romney. If Gingrich wins in Florida, I think it will give some voters the confidence to vote for Gingrich, rather than Romney who was originally seen as the inevitable pick.

Oh yes. And Sheldon Adelson is doing his best to make sure that Gingrich wins Florida.

More power to him. icon_smile.gif I'm in favor of supporting the Republican candidate who is less likely to beat President Obama in the general election.

I just wish Santorum would quit so his votes can go to Gingrich.

I think the Repubs are right to reject Mitt Romneycare.
God knows the American people will if he's the nominee!

In fact the poll posted by the OP shows that they already have!

The problem with Mitt Romneycare is that he's just innately UNLIKEABLE.
And the more folks get to know him the less they like him.
    LOL
    Familiarity breeds contempt with Mitt!

Of course the Repubs can't win with Gingrinch either, but at least the Repub base will stick with him more so than they would with Mitt Romneycare.

And Gingrinch will at least not suffer the indignity of losing his own home state!

Mitt Romneycare would DEFINITELY lose his home state of MA.
    Very probably by double digits!

    How humiliating!

Not only is it more timely - it also reveals what a silly waste of time the "Thread For Real Jock Conservatives" is!

The Repubs have no candidate who has any chance of beating President Obama!

The right-wingers posting on that thread are just having a little circle jerk trying to convince each other that the Repubs have a chance of winning.

    Clueless!
