Your response to everyone's post is on the line of "If you don't like it, don't watch it (read it, breathe it, touch it, eat it)" Fill in the blank. People point thinks out to try to bring action and change for the positive. How about something a little more constructive and thoughtful?

You mean there's no little red X in the upper right hand corner of real life to click? Screw that. I'm holding out for real life 2.0

"The Family Research Council is a hate group, and journalists ought to treat it as such. MSNBC must stop inviting Family Research Council spokespeople on the air to represent the views of Christians and other people of faith."

I completely disagree (except for their identity as a hate group) because of the amount of money, hence influence, they have on the political process. Money is their voice, not television.

What the petition should say is that they ask MSNBC to provide equal time to faith-based groups that view things differently from the Family Research Council.

But probably the media legitimizes their fundraising when it elevates them to the level of expertise, whereas if they were shunned as they should be along with their fellow hate groups, it could become embarrassing for people to chance getting caught supporting a hate group with their money.
