I'm shocked she lasted so long without proper vitamins and minerals. The body is pretty miraculous.

I expected her to be huge lol. But yeah she's survived quite a long time without a balanced diet.

No. In a country where the first vegetable introduced to children is the potato fry, the mother is not solely at fault.

The girl is 17. She should know better for the past decade or so.

How did she not get tired of them? She must eat other things too.

Only other food she eats are fries and toast now and then.

I'm with Art on this one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't she be fighting cravings for essential minerals etc?

    Potassium?

Let's state the obvious: It's not true.

    This thread is ridiculous.

Precisely. She would not be able to live physiologically without being deformed or functionally incompetent.

I sometimes think how much simpler things could be, when I'm feeding my dogs. They get two scoops a day out of the same bag...

Except for all the environmental snacks they discover.

    Then of course, there's this

    225px-Bachelor_Chow.jpg

And the other day at Costco, I saw a plastic bucket of... material that was labeled "FOOD SUPPLY."

There's no indication that the article is in jest -- so no, it isn't obvious but thank you for your omniscient insight .

Wasn't there a case a few years back where a guy ate nothing but McDonald's food for a month? Was he feeling sub par and hadn't he put on weight? I never eat that crap. I didn't even like it as a kid. I asked Ray Croc's widow Joan if she ever ate McDonalds food. Her answer: "Oh my Heavens. No!"

You obviously believe everything you read, and it's just as likely that you believe everything you watch on the idiot box.

Well, I certainly don't believe this, do you?

Are you seriously bringing politics into a discussion about chicken mcnuggets?

This is about the fourth time he's posted this video. Like other topics on this board that he posts, whenever he doesn't get attention, he bumps them. Now, since even bumping his own topics aren't working, he is pasting it into other threads in an attempt to finally get the attention he wants. Obvious troll is obvious.

So, as to not let this thread be derailed:

The likelihood of this being real is very, very, very slim. Unless there were other supplements, chicken nuggets, soda, and french fries do not supply several crucial nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.

Considering her age and the rapid growth that occurs at this time, she would've wound up in the hospital with all sorts of fun disorders. Between deficient Ca, B-12, Folate (and the list goes on, but these are 3 pretty big ones), she wouldn't have stood a chance even after a year.

So, without some sort of supplementation, this is definitely a hoax.

Credo's comment was completely based on the fact that the OP is not a liberal / Democrat / socialist as he is. Credo is the one who brought politics into this.

He called television an idiot box. Not exactly sure how political that is. Conservatives are not the only ones who watch tv.

It looks like to me you read into what Credo what you wanted to see, not for what the statement really is—which is a criticism of believing everything you see on television or read online.

Ugh...you're arguing logic with SB. icon_confused.gif

"Even if you win an argument with an idiot, all you win is an argument with an idiot."

    Stop feeding the troll -_-;;...

Just feed it chicken nuggets, soda, and fries and it will collapse and die. Don't supplement with responses.

Did you miss the other part of what he wrote?

    I guess you did.

I believe he called him a lemming for readily believing the story. Eating nothing but chicken McNuggets for 15 years sounds a bit far-fetched, especially starting at age 2 up to 17.
