Surely to god those voters up there can find someone better than this attention getting pain in the ass Bachmann as their representative. Bachman is an embarassment to that state and our nation as a whole and detracts from her often spoken of 'American exceptionalism'.LOL Get rid of her for christs sake.

I am glad she is never going to be The President, but I am not convince that she is not a good congress woman, though I don't personally agree with many of her stances on issues.

Unfortunate... perhaps the electorate will yet agree that it's time for someone who is grounded and reasonable.

But she wasn't in the limelight before. You disagree with almost all of her political stances, I'm speaking of the whole social/religious conservatism aspect.

I think the people of Minnesota who keep re-electing her don't consider her an embarrassment. In fact, probably just the opposite. She was no shrinking violet as the only woman in the GOP Presidential run. She held her own and probably impressed many who really didn't know much about her before, while turning off others. I am by no means a Michelle Bachmann supporter. I wouldn't vote for her for anything, but I can see why she does appeal to her constituents.

Because the parts of the state she represents are as equally trashy and messed up as she is?

Fortunately the district she represents is undergoing redistricting that leans more Democratic. She actually may lose this time around.

whomever her constituency elects, it's their choice. that's the US system of representative democracy. i don't agree w/ many elected officials, yet if they aren't representing my district, it's really none of my business.
