This is what happens when you leave three philosophy nerds unsupervised, with access to bourbon and puppets.

A reading of Aristophanes's speech in Plato's Symposium about the origin of love and the various sexual orientations. I'm one of said nerds. icon_redface.gif

I was surprised to learn they had plastic shopping baskets in Plato's time.

Well, I'm going with what Thucydides claims Pericles said about Athens,

"And we have not forgotten to provide for our weary spirits many relaxations from toil; we have regular games and sacrifices throughout the year; our homes are beautiful and elegant; and the delight which we daily feel in all these things helps to banish melancholy. Because of the greatness of our city the fruits of the whole earth flow in upon us; so that we enjoy the goods of other countries as freely as of our own." (History of the Peloponnesian War, Book 2.38)

One can only assume at least one toy basket was included among the "the fruits of the whole earth" that made their way to the Piraeus!

I thought this was about the awesome gay club named Eros that was in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Now that club, the bouncer, and the strippers were in need of praise. icon_biggrin.gif

Back to the topic at hand, that was cool.

    Sorry to disappoint.

I'd never heard of this brand, though.

Oh. My. Goodness. Someone educate this man, please!

Yeah, Eros is probably the most awesome lube ever.

(other than the fact it makes an absolute mess of your sheets.)

but hey, good sex is worth a little sacrifice.
