Ridiculous Ploys

I was at my friend's NYE party having a great time (my hot straight high school crush was there!) when I was pulled aside by one of the twinkish guys there, who told me that one of the guys was "into me", and that he's around the corner in the other room.

I think I said something along the lines of "Yeah, no." and walked away.

Question for y'all is whether you'd have entertained this or not.

    So, would ya?

Ah yes, I have not been using the word "ploy" enough lately. Must remember to do so.

    I would've said "I'm not into rape."

I would have said, "Well don't just stand there, Tell him to come on over and say hi. You had no problem doing that, so if he's nervous come along with him."
and I would have grinned a great grin and given a warm wink.

If the dude was "into you" then he should approach you himself instead of sending somebody else to relay a message. That's tacky.

"Yeah, no" followed by an about face was a good answer.

Plus, you are at a NYE Party which is a perfect time for someone to grab fate by the balls and just go for it. He missed out.
