Which one the 2 really impressed u the most ?

for me i would say BLAIR... in the sense it really seemed real, and was able to fool the mass of people for years !

I recently check online there is a news saying that the makers of ( BLAIR WITCH PROJECT )

is actually remaking the sequel so its gonna make it look that the ( BLAIR WITCH PROJECT 2 book of shadows ) didnt happen...

but rumor states that it still a plan... yet to happen... yet to approved by studio regards to it.

um hope they do a great job like they did the first film. 2nd one was ugh...ok not bad , 50/50 in my opinionicon_neutral.gificon_neutral.gif

I didn't like Blair Witch when it first came out, but I enjoy both now. Lean more towards Paranormal Activity, though the last half of the third film I'd like to forget icon_confused.gif

Are you kidding?!?! Both were a waste of my money and hours of life I'll never get back!

The only thing I did enjoy was popcorn.

I think the 3 characters of blair did a great job, the way they played the role. But the most annoying character i have to say was the girl in that movie.

Man , they were lost already. And she kept telling them to go on that way !!! hahahahah

Creepy part of the movie was the ( TENT SCENE ) ghost kids hitting their tent with their hands.

Paranormal 1 was by far better than paranormal 2 and 3.

Paranormal 3 is just like ( HUH ? PFFTTT REALLY Oh hell no i want my money back )icon_lol.gif

    Hm - a thread for me!! icon_twisted.gif

Being the horror geek I am - I do enjoy some of these "found footage" films --------- However, dang this is a HARD one! I'd have to say Blair Witch Project (which, btw, did NOT invent this sub-genre! That'd go to 1980's Cannibal Holocaust) -

Anyhow - I like both films & their supernatural overtones. I really dig the PA films, did a cool twist to the 'haunted house' genre.

Both contained some great creepy moments...though as far as the 'end' goes - Blair Witch wins...hands down. That ending of PA of Micah getting thrown at the camera was SO predictable!

I suppose, for me, they are about the same. I think the element of 'mystery' is what I find entertaining more so than the 'horror' aspects of the films.

Blair Witch Project...and it's not even close. The final five minutes is some of the most frightening five minutes in movie history, even if the rest of the movie is crap.

I liked Paranormal Activity a lot too. But BWP scared the living crap out of me.

I'd have to say PA just because I only saw the first BWP. I'd have to rewatch and see the other one to make a fair comment, I suppose.

Just to forewarn ya dude - BWP pt 2 is....ehhh...while an "interesting" concept....its hated by many. It is an actual "film" as opposed to a "found footage" film as the 1st one. .Just a heads up!

the 3rd one, in MY book - is the BEST & creepiest one! However, another warning: all the footage you see in tv spots & previews DO NOT APPEAR in the film. However, w/ that said - it still came out as the best contender!

Gladly, the 2 guys behind part 3 are now preparing to film part 4 for this OCT icon_razz.gif

I really liked the Blair Witch Project. I think it captured a lot more the stressful and freaky tension of supernatural activies rather than PA.

The characters freaked out a lot more, I think of the scene where the dude throws the map and the girl just freaks out like crazy and yells, it was superb!

Although the ending was a bit.. deceiving, I mean she just drops down ''inconscious'' or dead and it stops there, I thought we would see a witch somewhere, but I suppose that was the marvel of the movie, never knowing if there was really a witch up in those woods...

I like Blair Witch better. It has a creepier atmosphere being lost in the woods and someone/thing is watching you. PA is ok but it wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be.

Ok - this quoted above is exactly what I could NOT think to say - BWP is scarier cuz, yes, as horrifying as it would to have a entity in your home, being lost out in the discomfort of the woods is by far scarier.

That happened in all of them, some of the stuff the released wasn't in the movies. Pretty common in trailers to show scenes not in the film.

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE IT but nobody ill go with me icon_sad.gif
