What do you want to bet that this guy is 100% christian Fundi ? A god fear'n, praise the lord jesuz luv'n, good ol' boy sit'n in the Amen corner every sunday. This guy is very representative of why such 'christians' have had the word Talaban added to their title. We have a few of them even here among the gay guys. LOL !! What a contradiction.

And yet there are guys here on RJ who support this. Oh, they may protest that they don't support THIS particular guy and his position, but they do support a Republican majority that will pass this kind of legislation. Because Republican legislators largely vote as a block, so that if you vote for one, you vote for them all. Including this certifiably insane guy in North Carolina.

Or maybe some right-wingers here actually DO endorse a return to public hangings at the end of a rope? Hmmmm...?

It is fun to respond to AD, but he has little credibility with almost everyone on the site. Reading his posts reminds me of going to the zoo and watching the orangutans scratch their asses, though as an animal lover, I have more respect for them. http://www.orangutan.org/

From the "politically neutral" ThinkProgress.org, here's what he wrote:

...For my money, we should go back to public hangings, which would be more of a deterrent to others, as well.

I don't see any problem with that - except for the abortion mention [sic] as abortion is not a crime.

So yes, Colonel, some here are able to see beyond the narrow-minded view that you have.

southbeach1500 just endorsed public hangings, at the end of a rope!!!!

To include rapists & kidnappers, where no loss of life has occurred. Serious crimes, but not capital, to dangle at the end of a rope in public?

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! Now I think we know the person with whom we are dealing with here!

And I know the next trick he'd like to pull is quote me about my Muslim comments, made nearly 2 years ago. Which I promptly retracted, and for which I apologized, that he refuses to acknowledge and keeps resurrecting as an all-purpose slam against me.

But public hanging at the end of a rope, to entertain the mob? When a life hasn't even been taken? IN THE US????

Now I think we have something memorable to paste anytime southbeach1500 has anything to say. SICK! SICK!! SICK!!!

UHHHHH !!! SoCal !!!! I wouldn't talk to loud there because many of us would have no problem including you and your pro war buddy FreedomGeezer in this group of "CHRISTIAN TALABAN". by the way, you often try to speak for your troops on who is and isn't credible, but in reality, not so much !! Go do some GOOGLING and get some facts up in your noggin then you might get some 'credibility' for yourself.

By the way, SoCal you still owe me some proof from some of your far right accusations. funny how you go quiet in the face of having to provide proof and when confronted with facts.

What was that about 'credibility' ?

This narrow minded, bible thumping screwball who wants to bring back public hangings is the valid reason why the GOP is going down the sewer. If North Carolina ever brought back public lynchings, it should seriously consider going after and hanging all the right wing, fundamentalist lunatics and let everyone else live their lives as they see fit.

Don't wet yourself Colonel, as you might faint again and wake up in a pool of your own bloody urine. http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/2011882

Aren't all hangings accomplished from an end of a rope?

And I didn't read anything in Representative Pittman's written statement (as put forth by the non-partisan ThinkProgress.org) that he was advocating this for "mob entertainment purposes" - rather, he was advocating this for both punishment and deterrent purposes.

So apparently, even at this early hour of the afternoon, you are sloshed and seeing things that aren't there. Sad.

I can't decide whether to be amused or sad at the fact that SB apparently bookmarks posts to use against people later...

    Someone needs a hobby!

How are public hangings supposed to act as a deterrent? A specific deterrent, yes, but not a general one. They certainly didn't act as a general deterrent when they were used.

That's an interesting lie. Tell me, how many have you canvassed to come up with this conclusion?

    Public hangings?
How primitive. Although perhaps FOX could make it into a reality show.

First of all, a lie is a statement made known to be untrue. My statement is an assessment based on the reaction of people to his many threads within the past few months, and also his own statement about how he believes most people block him and he has few friends.

You seem to have a Kingmaker illusion about yourself, get over your blocking nonsense, as its not impressive at all. Yes you block alright, elspecillay when fact are brought to bear against your far right drivel and such things as promoting war with Iran.

On the bright side, such a show could end the legacy of the Kardashians and Jersey Shore (as morbid as that would be :rollicon_smile.gif
