I've met about 4 guys in my office through grindr, never hooked up with them because that would be akward but 2 of them ended up being my gay bff's and we have a gay clique now. its fun icon_smile.gif

The only down side with grindr is there is this guy im not into at all who lives in my apt complex and he's always trying to get with me, I'm hoping he never sees me in person

Yeah, I mainly use it to just know who lives in my neighbourhood, and for the most part it's the same guys that are on all the other sites. Without the personal info/interests written in the presentation, I see no reason to contact anybody. And those faceless profiles... as if! The anonymity let's people with no social skills or etiquette run wild.

Keep in mind he could be on another floor!

I downloaded grindr just so I can turn it on while flying over the city at 1000-1500' above the ground.
That always fucks with people cause they think I'm nearby. Well, I am...sorta... icon_lol.gif

Well, I would be wondering if said guy has seen your profile on Grindr, too.

Make eye contact with all the guys and see whose gaze may have changed. lol - or whose behavior may be suddenly awkward.

I met someone in my office from Grindr and they are currently one of my best gay friends.

Gridr is what you make of it. A lot of people are on there just to hookup. I even get crazy messages on there when someone asks me what I am looking for, and I tell them I want to meet a friend or a date. They think I'm crazy and say Grindr is a hookup site. Guys are only here to hookup. That is not true!! Grindr is what you make of it. It is a social network where you can meet other gay guys. What you choose to do once you initiate contact is up to the two of you. There are guys all over the spectrum (closeted, fully out, hot, ugly, ambitious, lazy, and everything in between). If you sort through the junk, it can be a powerful tool. Grindr is what you make of it.

Grindr is a pretty useful tool! I've met a few people on Campus because of that app. As someone previously said, " The GPS isn't always accurate "; however, It's still very fun to get to know people in the area with a bit of luck!

I never even knew what Grndr was until I joined rj.

Then, lo and behold, months later I met a guy and he started talking about grindr.

All I could think to do was give him the "i'm staring at a blank wall" look and walk away.

Yes because, you know, everyone in the united states is totally ok with gay people and such. If you make a mistake and try to sex up a straight guy, its no biggie here!

There's a couple i know who likes to go to coffee shop and use Grindr to check out who's sitting where. Turns out most of the guys using phones in a coffee shop are using grindr.

Up to now there are no good friends i made from grindr.
