    Great news.

    If it werent for the nutjob right, we could do that kind of research here and it would go much faster. (Think of how much money and how many doctors the US has compared with Scotland.)

    This is really interesting as a way around accessing brain cells, because as I understand psychotropics and the like, though psychiatrists know they can work, they don't always know exactly why they work.

    When I toured last year the largest Alzheimer's research building in the world, here in Florida, one of the things that fascinated me was a brain slicing machine. Kind of like an egg slicer but a bit more precise. It is used to make thin slices of mouse brain, which are then hooked up to various sensors in a bath and washed over with whatever chemical the scientist wants to test.

    But of course you can't really do that with a living person so this research answers that.problem. They still can't cure the common cold but they sure can do some pretty cool things.
