Mitt Romneycare's vast wealth dwarfs the wealth of almost every previous president in US history.

Well, since he isn't President, how does it stack up against John Heinz Kerry's wealth?
Uh.. Kerry isnt running for president.. Thought ya might want to know that.icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

"Congress is flush with millionaires. Only a few are in the Romney realm, including Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, who was the Democratic presidential nominee in 2004. Kerry's ranking would climb much higher if the fortune of his wife, Teresa Heinz, were counted. She is the widow of Sen. John Heinz, heir to the Heinz ketchup fortune."

btw, George Washington is considered the richest president in the history of the US.

Yeah - funny how RickRick can't differentiate between someone running for president and someone who IS president.

It's really quite an easy concept to grasp.

Is that kinda how you chastise someone with an underwear pic twittered when you actually post pics of your naked penis all over the internet?

They are unfortunately both politicians therefore they must disclose net worth. Both seem to have accumulated about the same amount of welath, which adds them to the minor leagues of wealth. Romney may yet approach $1BB in wealth, but Kerry is in the waning mode.

since u brought up Sen. Kerry, who, as ptd out, isn't running 4 president, i posted that link. from that same link:

"Just how rich is Mitt Romney? Add up the wealth of the last eight presidents, from Richard Nixon to Barack Obama. Then double that number. Now you're in Romney territory."

Poor SB has a Weinergate problem of his own!

Which is pretty damn hypocritical considering that SB started about A MILLION threads here on RJ making hay of Weiner's actions!
    lol

While meanwhile SB was posting more dick pics on the Internet than Weiner ever did!

One flaw in the comparison: Romney is NOT President.

More appropriate comparison is presidential candidates, hence the comparison to Kerry.

Interesting how some on here can't grasp that concept.
You? Yeah we all see that.

Why is it a problem that Mitt Romney is an extremely successful man who has built a vast empire and mountain of wealth? I just don't understand why we are demonizing success and wealth. Mitt Romney was also a successful Governor of a state, and brought the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics back from the brink. Is that not a good thing????

Very simple from the thread title to the comments. Class envy from people obviously not successful themselves, whose words demonstrate their bitterness, and they can't stand it. It's clear that some of them, but not all, derive their politics from their bitterness. Look at the thread title, "YUP - Romney Is Truly Filthy Stinking Rich", and you can't come to any other conclusion. Very blatant and pathetic.

Well, any thread started by RickRick, and certainly any of his posts, are always tinged with a district sense of anger and bitterness --- that's just a given. However, truth be told, I think Mitt Romney scares the holy Scarsdale CRAP out of him, cuz deep down he knows that Mitt Romney may be the only GOP candidate that can take Obama down.

Rick, you'll never end an argument with the troll even though every post you have to its' unintelligible attempts to communicate, is a win!.

You see, hypocrites are liars. And therefore hypocrites are incapable of telling the truth. Pity the asshats. The view from "up in there" must be "pretty shitty". icon_lol.gif

    Yup.

I DO pity socal and curious.

    They're just pathologically deluded.

And they cling so bitterly to their delusions!

And anytime they're confronted with facts and truths that contradict the right-wing propaganda they so devoutly adhere to - they get so angry and mean!

They're so deep into their own sickness and so filled with rage and hatred that they're not even aware of how they look to others.

Those of us who look on and witness their delusions and their suffering DO need to pity them.

HA! You really ARE a piece of work, RickRick. I will gladly put all of my posts over time up against yours and let's see who is truly the "angry bitter" poster around here. I'm like a ray of freaking sunshine when compared to your redundant bitter angry ranting. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif As I said before, we will only know for sure WHO is truly "delusional" (or maybe it will be just sadly mistaken) when Election Night results come rolling in. I'm willing to admit that it could go either way. That's not delusional, it's just being realistic.

Don't you dare lie and say "oh, no, I'm very happy with what I have!' If given the chance to make a vast amount of wealth, you would go for it! And why not? THAT is what drives man. Wealth that leads to leisure, wealth that leads to altruism, charity.....

You really are cowardly - you claim to have me blocked so that you don't see what I post - yet you go ahead and attack me. Weak.

That is his MO. Says he blocks most conservatives, brags about it as if a personal accomplishment, then mostly divisive. Complete coward.
