Whey Protein

    A friend of mine is just getting into working out. He said he read that if you are a 190Lb man, you should take in about 95 grams of whey protein a day. He said he read that you should do this even if you are a sedentary guy. Is this true?

    If you are sedentary you might not need quite that much, but yes that is a reasonable ball park figure for the active person at that weight. If you are training hard you might need even more. During intense weight training its not unheard of to eat up to 2 grams per pound of body weight.
