So i bought a pair of gym shorts the other day and it has that funny mesh netting on the inside which kinda resembles a pair of briefs.
how the question is, when wearing shorts like that, do you not wear underwear with it because the mesh is kinda like underwear.
Or wear underwear with it and if so, what kinda underwear? it tried it with the normal boxer briefs i wear and it feels very weird...maybe briefs would be a better idea.

    what do you guys thing?

I think you have answered your question. Wear some undies with them.

I gotta have something to hold the boys in. This happened to me once and although I got a phone number out of it I didn't like the fact that my junk was touching the equipment nor being displayed so freely while working out.

Wear under wear. Undergear is great for this sort of thing.

If you normally wear boxers, cut the mesh part out. icon_idea.gif

I think you are talking about running shorts. While they appear to be gym shorts, they are for guys who are modest and prefer to cover more than the usual shorts. And most runners who wear this types, do not wear underwear with them. That would be redundant.

Or running shorts, as also suggested here. Open mesh liners like netting usually are for swimming, since they let the water pass right through and dry quickly.

Running and gym shorts liners are more often a thin knit or a very fine mesh for less abrasion and a bit more modesty when performing athletics. I'm not sure I'd want my dick rubbing against coarse net material while I jogged.

I don't like any liners anyway, so I either buy shorts that have none, or I cut them out. I go commando with board shorts, and wear a jock at the gym.

Absolutely, I wear my jock underneath when I run with these liners. I personally hate these liners. Lululemon makes liners like a compression short which is so much better. Wearing a jock just gives that support of not flopping around.

I love to wear sexy underwear, but if I can go commando I will. Would love to have soft strong well shaped mesh to tickle my nuts.

I dont like the liners. I assumed they were swim trunks. I just have regular shorts with no liners.

I think a good pair of scissors is the best answer to mesh liners.

Well unless you feel like flopping around and showing your package to everyone (which I wouldn't necessarily complain if I saw it), you'd probably need a little pair of briefs/bikinis or a jock to fit under there. Personally I would just cut the liner and wear a jock anyhow. I always wear a jock to the gym.

They're running shorts. If you get the right size/fit you definitely do not wear underwear with them.... they're designed to hold everything in place. If they don't, change brands/ size.

Yeah Fit is right, but you can also cut it out and wear a jock under it so your cock if you are hung doesn't flop in it... I prefer my cock to stay supported and in place when running... so cut it out and wear a jock instead.

This man is right! A pair that fits correctly is perfect for jogging. The breathable mess is great for running while it holds it all in place. I prefer these over regular shorts and wearing a jock in the summer.
