Anyone here listen to pop music from Asia? I have no idea what they are saying but the music is catchy. Share your favorite artists. This song has been on heavy rotation durning my work outs a lot lately.

I had gone through the site. It was very interesting and enjoyable. The categories and the topics discussed in the site are very interesting. This is one of the best sites that i had visited. Over the recent years, K POP has expanded rapidly across the world, memorizing many individuals to adopt the Hally u wave.
Could you please provide some more links for detailed view? thank you for the post.

Definitely listen to a lot of Jpop and Kpop. I'd say my faves are:

    Kpop:
    Clazziquai Project
    8Eight
    2NE1
    After School
    Brown Eyed Girls
Casker (not actually pop, but still Korean)
    Lee Jung Hyun

    Jpop:
    Globe
Move (when they were still 3)
    Ayumi Hamasaki
    M-Flo
    Namie Amuro
BoA (I listen to her in Japanese, not Korean. Don't really know why, probably just because that's how I first heard her)
    Capsule
    AAA
    Misia
    Ryohei Yamamoto
    Koda Kumi

I mainly listen to underground hip hop and rap, but kpop became a huge part of my music choice as of late... Being an anime fan I've listened to a ton of jpop!!!!

This right here is THE best JPop song I've ever heard! Kuu is really hit-or-miss for me, but when she hits, she hits pretty damn good!

I also like Namie Amuro, Daichi Miura and Crystal Kay is pretty good too.

As for KPop, 2NE1, Big Bang and Rain are among my favourites.

Haven't got round to listening to any of their stuff, but I don't mind some of TVXQ's songs. LOVE their third album and their fourth is pretty good too.

Hmmmm I started listening to J-pop (thanks to the endings of mangas like Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin etc...).
I was really into: M-flo, Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru (I saw her in concert in London icon_biggrin.gif ), Chemistry, Boa (in japanese too because like ucimae I first discovered her as a Jpop artist), akeboshi, some endings/openings from Bleach and Naruto :p ("We are fighting DREAMERS!!!")

Then I guess I got fed up, seeing that M-flo was about to stop their "M-flo loves" collaboration era, and most of those singers had reached their popularity peak, I needed something more...

Enter Kpop ^^: Big Bang, 2NE1, Hyori, Son dambi, super junior and some korean variety shows with subs.

Then I discovered AMAZING Korean groups (they're not as popular as the idols but their music is GREAT): Epik High, Dynamic Duo, Clazziquai Project, Winterplay, House rulez. ^^
