How can I stimulate more body/facial hair growth?

Probably in the wrong section but, I couldn't figure out where else to put it.

Anyways, I'm 24 and don't have a whole lot of body or facial hair. It really annoys me and honestly, I'm quite self conscious about it.

I would love to be able to actually grow proper facial hair and not some half-stache splotchy bear hybrid. My chest/stomach aren't terrible but, my chest hair is very sparse and thin, and the stomach hair is very light.

So, any treatments you could recommend that would help stimulate hair growth in these areas? Thanks,

    Change your genetics.

Other than that, be happy with what you have.

    It's called genes.

You can get hair transplants, though that's usually reserved for guys going bald

Rub cow manure on the desired areas.

People get self-conscious about silly things. If you focus on improving yourself in something you can actually exert control over you're forget about the hairlessness.

I can't grow facial hair either. I used to be self conscious about it too, because being able to grow a beard is a sign masculinity, but my Dad can't either, it's just genetics. Now I am required to be clean shaven for work, and I am the envy of my colleagues because while they have to abuse their faces every day to stay smooth I don't. And I save lot of money on razors and other supplies. Always look for the upside.

body/facial hair is more work than benefit.

Hairy guys don't usually look good unless they use a bodygroomer to even it out, and that is both time consuming, bothersome (especially for the skinny) and makes a mess.

The thicker your beard grows in, the harder it is to shave/trim without pain, and the more often you need to do it.

There is no proven way to grow hair or reduce hair, aside from certain medications.. which work either unpredictably or sparingly.

That's a completely disproved old wives' tale.

Correct, based on the blunter appearance of hair shafts that've been cut, rather than uncut hair which ends in a natural thinning taper.

Vidur saidSo, any treatments you could recommend that would help stimulate hair growth in these areas? Thanks,

As already stated, it's largely genetics. Also hormones and age, so treatments really don't help, unless to cure a hormone imbalance. Over decades I've watched my body hair thicken in some places (my legs were gorilla-like as a teen, my chest totally hairless), to later thin out. Now I have a medium-hairy chest, but my back and butt were so hairy in my late 40s to 50s that I had to trim them, that hair now disappearing. And of course we all know how the hair on a man's head changes, though that's always a lessening.

If you're like some of us your chest hair will sprout around 30. And oddly, while my legs & arms were positively furry at 13, my pubes a Brillo pad, and I was already shaving daily with a full beard, my chest was as hairless as a baby's bum. Genetics.

Be careful what you wish for because when you turn into an old man like me it starts growing out your ears and stuff.
