This is CRAZY. What is Paula Deen thinking!!?

    Ingredients

    2 tablespoon butter
    Paula Deen’s House Seasoning
    2 tablespoon grated onion
3 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley leaves
    1 1/2 lb ground beef
    3 eggs
    6 slices bacon, cooked
    3 hamburger buns
    3 english muffins
    6 glazed donuts

    Directions

Mix the ground beef, chopped parsley and grated onion together in a large mixing bowl. Season liberally, with House Seasoning. Form 3 hamburger patties.

Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Add the burgers and cook until desired temperature, 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Fry bacon in a hot pan until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels. Set aside.

While burgers are cooking, heat a non-stick pan, over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter. Crack 3 eggs into the pan. Cook until the yolks are just set and still slightly runny and remove.

Place burger patties on English muffins or buns, and if desired, on glazed donuts, as the buns. Top each burger with 2 pieces of bacon and a fried egg.

"And coming up: a fruit yogurt parfait sure to delight your brunch bunch."

If you're still alive, that is.

Don't get me wrong... I love me some Paula, but yeah, this is crazy.

I can't eat the recipes she makes without having to modify something... I gotta be hating, she kept making the same diabete's nightmare recipes for as long as she had it herself! I'm not perfect, but sure as hell this loud mouth sure wouldn't shut up about some as important to know as having diabetes... I'm here biggest fan, I'm hating.

yeah I really never liked her... I just saw her piling on butter and shit and I was like.. oh god!... Imnot one to talk I mean I can eat some pretty unhealthy shit but if I had as much pull as she does... I'd be more healthy about things. Rachel Ray is more my deal but even then.. her dishes are out there times too. Sometimes a simple chicken brest and some grilled veggies is all you need. Now Im hungry again.

I'd be starving with such a carb deprived meal myself.

You know, there was a part of me that was truly hoping this was a joke, but it's a recipe actually posted on the Food Network website. I mean, no self-respecting cook/chef of any kind would suggest using donuts as hamburger buns. Would they??

That's just her thing. Watch her recipe for a healthy cucumber salad which includes a cup of mayonnaise.

My thoughts exactly. Although, I would prefer to have it with greens or other non-starchy vegetable.
